Come to The Chamber, Ben Franklin Place, 101 Centrepointe Drive from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. to hear a talk by Tracey Arial, and others from a Montreal-area writers group, who published a book of their stories: "Beads in a Necklace, Family Stories from the Genealogy Ensemble". They will share what they have learned about writing and publishing family history. Arrive early! From 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.: a talk by Kyla Ubbink, conservator, of Ubbink Book and Paper Conservation, on "Bailing Out: Avoiding and Responding to Water Damage and Floods in Archival Collections".
