Biodiversity Symposium - Canadian Museum of Nature

The Museum's Beaty Centre for Species Discovery presents a day-long scientific symposium, Biodiversity Conservation for a Sustainable Future. Program and registration information at: nature.ca/symposium2018. Highlights include keynote talk by Dr. Leonard Krishtalka, “A new view of life: Quantum biology and biological dark matter”. Feature presentations include a look at the current status and challenges facing COSEWIC (Committee on the Status of Endangered Wildlife in Canada), a Canadian perspective on conservation from the Nature Conservancy of Canada, and how today's students can "save the planet".
