A once-a-year opportunity to explore the Canadian Museum of Nature's national research and collections facility in Gatineau, Quebec. Free admission. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 1740 Pink Road, Gatineau. Go behind the scenes, meet science experts, visit labs and take a deep dive into 14.6 million natural-history specimens of plants, animals, fossils and minerals. New this year: see the National Biodiversity Cryobank of Canada, where plant and animal tissues are stored for species research. Self-guided visits.
