St. Matthew’s Church will be filled with the sultry sounds of Ottawa’s popular jazz singer Diane Nalini at its Jazz & Tapas fundraising event on the afternoon of Sunday, October 14, from 5 to 7 pm. Nalini will perform with bassist Adrian Cho, who conducts the Ottawa Jazz Orchestra and guitarist Magnus Paulson. The event will raise money for the Black Canadian Scholarship Fund. St. Matthew’s musical director Kirkland Adsett on piano. Tickets will include food, entertainment, and non-alcoholic beverages. A complimentary glass of wine or beer is included in the adult ticket price. Tickets can be purchased online at www.stmatthewsottawa.ca or phone 613-234-4024. Adults: $50, Students, (not including alcoholic beverages): $25. Sunday, October 14, 5 to 7 pm, St. Matthew’s, 130 Glebe Ave. entrance.
