Set in the 19th Century, Spring Awakening pits teen desires against adult repression with dazzling choreography, humour, emotion, and theatricality. Through an outstanding rock score by Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater, the show reveals the private yearnings, hopes, and anguish of the its teenage characters.
