Every Sunday and Wednesday in August from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Billings Estate National Historic Site, kids can learn how to identify different insects, and find out why they are important to people and nature. Games, crafts and activities – along with some good old bug hunting – will entertain and educate kids even after they’ve left the museum. Workshop runs from August 1 to 25. Admission is $6 per child. Billings Estate is located at 2100 Cabot Street., Ottawa. For more information visit Ottawa.ca/museums or call 613-247-4830.
