Merrickville Canalfest

Canalfest, Merrickville's annual outdoor celebration of the Rideau Canal, happens this August Long Weekend - Saturday, July 31 to Monday, August 2, 2010 at Blockhouse Park in Merrickville. Events include: ongoing musical entertainment, two-day silent auction, children's events - a Saturday morning fishing derby, free face painting and balloon sculptures, Family History Hunt - the always fiercely competitive and friendly Voyageur Canoe Races, a Fine Craft Show and Sale, and more.
