Are Marine Protected Areas a Solution for Protecting Canada's Marine Life? Come discuss this stimulating topic. Watch the beautiful documentary, "Secrets of the Emerald Sea". Hear what guest speakers have to say: Andrew Dumbrille, Manager, Oceans and Arctic, World Wildlife Fund Canada's Ottawa Bureau; Shane Gero, Whale Biologist and Ph.D. candidate from Dalhousie University, and Nicholas Irving, Chief, National Marine Conservation Areas Establishment, Parks Canada. "Secrets of the Emerald Sea" was produced by Genevieve Goggin and directed by Lori McNulty. Diving into the emerald sea of British Columbia, a young marine biologist uncovers the mysteries of the ocean,from elusive and unusual animals, to astonishing formations, some that have only recently been discovered. 27 minutes.
