Nuit Noire II

A group show dedicated to the beauty and majesty of the night sky, a testament to those artists, sculptors, scientists and astronomers who still turn their gaze skyward for inspiration. Our second annual dark sky festival! Free sidewalk star party and lectures, paintings, photos and sculpture all about the night. Featuring the artists; Alisdair MacRae, Anna Edels, Barbara Gamble, Denis Larouche, Emaly Galeano, Glen Foster, Harry Nowell, Jake Morrison, Jean Jewer, John Felice Ceprano, karl ciesluk, Gilles Quenneville, MaryAnn Camps, Maureen O’Neill, Melissa Garnett, Michael Kinghorn, Patti Normand, Preston Zaborowski, Ren Hui, Rebecca Mason, Reid McLachlan, Sayward Johnson, Sharon Lafferty, Sanjeev Sivarulrasa, Tony Clark, D. H. Monet Thursday, July 12 (Saturn/Mars visible) 7pm-Midnight Free Dark Sky Party and Lectures at 7:30 & 8:30pm 9:00 pm- After the sun sets a family friendly "streetwide star party" will be held on Julian Ave. featuring telescopes, videos and star viewing courtesy members of RASC.
