Live at the Ottawa Public Library! Come and meet Sandra Joyce.Sandra Joyce will read from The Street Arab: The Story of a British Home Child. The Street Arab tells the story of a Scottish boy whose family is torn apart by World War I, and who is sent, along with countless other British children, to Canada to begin a new life. The reading will be accompanied by a talk about the British Home Children.
Author visits will include a reading, Q & A and book signing.All readings are free of charge. This series is offered in part thanks to the generous support of the Canada Council for the Arts.
