Historical Fiction: Pat Cher Reads from Mi’kmag Song

Pat Cher will read from her book Mi’kmag Song. A historical novel, it follows the experiences of a girl who time-travels back to the days of first contact between Europeans and the Mi’kmag people, and delves into the rich cultural history of this aboriginal group. The reading will be presented in conjunction with a workshop on self-publishing.
