Enjoy watching the evolution of NFB animated films from early movies to recent favourites. Enjoy, be entertained and learn more about the art of animation. Intended for all ages, this selection which includes such favourites as Chairy Tale, The Sweater, Blackfly and the Cat Came Back, will showcase the prodigious range of animation techniques and novel storytelling. All the short films in some way deal with the nation’s capital using song and music, poetry and dance. There will be a short intermission, craft and popcorn! Presented by former NFB producer Jack Horwitz, in partnership with the Crichton Cultural Community Centre.
