12-days of 17 non-violent peace events at 14 locations around Ottawa ON Canada. Free, Open to the public, all ages. Gatherings, speeches, education, music, dance, culture, art, awards.
The annual “Peace, Unity and Harmony” festival unites two important United Nations events: International Day of Peace (September 21) and International Day of Nonviolence (October 2). Sponsored by civil society groups in the nation's capital, and the Canadian Department of Peace Initiative (CPI).
