Singer, songwriter, activist and philanthropist Bob Geldof first achieved fame as the lead singer of the Boomtown Rats, but is equally well-known for his work as the founder of the Band Aid charity super-group and the Live Aid concerts that raised millions for famine relief. Geldof is behind a string of number one hits including “I Don’t Like Mondays” and "This Is the World Calling” and of course, “Do They Know It’s Christmas”.
This multi-talented artist was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, is recipient of an honourary knighthood and a Man of Peace award.
Geldof will perform hits from his Boomtown Rats days along with compositions from his new album “How to Compose Songs That Will Sell”.
