Stroke Survivors 3rd Annual Benefit Dinner and Auction

On Wednesday November 14, 2012, Stroke Survivors Association of Ottawa will be hosting its third annual Benefit Dinner and Auction. All funds raised from this event will be used to support Stroke Survivors Association of Ottawa’s work in our local community.
Stroke Survivors Association of Ottawa is a non-profit organization which provides post-stroke care for stroke survivors and their caregivers. We work closely with Health Care professionals to support those directly affected by stroke as they re-engage and integrate back into the community throughout their recovery and beyond.
We fulfill a critical component of the Stroke Continuum, specifically in the areas of Peer Support, Education and Community re-engagement. These services are essential to help reduce depression and isolation, and to prepare those who have been affected by stroke to understand the challenges ahead.
